Do you need a creative copywriter you can trust to craft your company product guides? If so, I’ll be glad to help.
Up-to-date product guides and sales collateral are essential for winning new customers. Perhaps you have a new product or service – but there’s nothing in print or available as a PDF?
Experience: Product guides
I can help. As a copywriter, I’ve written dozens of product guides and sales sheets. Clients have included Colt, Sony, Oracle, Hewlett-Packard, Mobile Phones Direct and many other UK and global companies.
A good style to follow
Most of the guides I’ve written are A4 x 2 sides and follow a tried-and-tested format:
– Product name and tagline
– Introduction with the main hook
– Key features and benefits
– How it works
– References/testimonial quote
– Call-to-action (contact details)
That said, if you need a shorter or longer document, that’s fine too. (I can also produce copy for your PowerPoint sales presentations.)
What’s essential …
A copywriter must understand the hopes and fears of your audience – and find the best way to connect with them. See Why choose me? to find out what makes me different and how I can give you the edge.
Best ways I can help …
Option 1 – Enhancing your existing copy
Some companies send me draft copy for their product guides. Often it’s accurate but feels flat. I’ll interview members of the product team and check out what your competitors are saying. I’ll then enrich the product guide text with style and energy to give you a competitive advantage.
Option 2 – Writing from scratch
Sometimes a new product or service is so fresh that there’s nothing on paper. No problem. I’ll listen, ask questions and take notes as your product team ‘unload’ everything that’s locked in their heads. I’ll make sense of it all … distilling your unique selling proposition (USP) into a couple of sides of text as a product guide.
And finally …
Once your product guide copy is drafted, revised and approved by your team, I’ll forward it to your designer for layout.
