Landing pages

Landing pages

Do you need a copywriter you can trust to write landing pages to support your marketing campaigns? If so, I’ll be glad to help.

If your email campaigns, direct mail, print ads or web banner ads are a success, then your target audience will follow the link to your landing pages or campaign microsites.

As soon as they arrive, the clock is ticking. You have a couple of seconds to assure them it was a good idea and get them to take the next step.

It’s time to work your magic …

Strong, intuitive design is essential. But you also need a talented copywriter to get your message across very clearly and powerfully. This is where the serious work begins.

Landing pages & microsites

I’ve written campaign landing pages/microsites for Colt, Motorola, Oracle, Manhattan and many other UK and global companies.

A copywriter must understand the hopes and fears of your audience for your landing pages to be a success. See Why choose me? to find out how I can give you the edge.

What does your page need to do?

1) Keep it short
As with your email campaign, be direct and concise. Fill in the blanks, but briefly.

2) Offer more – but give them a choice
Your original email couldn’t say everything about your product or service. Some people will want to know everything, others nothing, so offer both options. Links to websites and supporting resources like product guides will be helpful.

3) Provide reassurance
If possible, link to case studies or reference existing customers to boost credibility.

4) Start a relationship
Most importantly, your audience needs to feel comfortable getting in touch with you – and taking the next step. Tone of voice is important. Use language that’s warm, friendly and inviting. Be knowledgeable and helpful but not patronising.
